  • With almond-shaped eye apertures, faint symbols surrounding the eyes and continuing through the cheeks and alongside the corners of the mouth.

  • Broken into fragments and reconstructed, with minor losses along the breaks; stone yellowed and stained, with minor pitting.

  • In the Philadelphia-based collection of George Anderson until 1969. Sold to Henry Clarkson in New York in 1972, where it remained until his collection was dispersed in 1989.
