To simulate an ancient runic globe, the “north pole” with concentric rings, above incised lines to denote the “gores,” and latitudinal riveted straps, faded diamond-shaped runes just north of the “equator” and elsewhere, and a prominent rune just south of it.

Fair, with pitting and rust, concentric rings at north pole slightly askew.
