  • The cylindrical hermetic can with typical beads to top and sides to increase rigidity, the body with welded vertical seam, covered with paper label having recognizable branding.

  • Corrosion to both ends, rust stains bleeding through label, label sagging.

  • Acquired by Mr. and Mrs. Robert G. Ingersoll, Philadelphia, at an estate sale in Maine, 1980; by descent to their granddaughter, Ms. Anne Ingersoll.
