A single sandstone hand separated cleanly at the wrist. The index finger extended downward, frozen mid-gesture, possibly benediction or accusation.

Stable patina, mild erosion to fingertips. No visible fractures or repairs.

In Frederick Ross's Detroit collection, transferred to John Bauer in Vienna, who kept it until 1978.
