  • A single sandstone hand separated cleanly at the wrist. The index finger extended downward, frozen mid-gesture, possibly benediction or accusation.

  • Stable patina, mild erosion to fingertips. No visible fractures or repairs.

  • In Frederick Ross's Detroit collection, transferred to John Bauer in Vienna, who kept it until 1978.
