  • The lizard shown with its neck turned and tail coiled, the head with scrolled carved detail surrounding the cabuchon sapphire inset eyes, the feet with carved dark garnet claws.

  • No evidence of damage or repair.

  • Owned by Lars Eriksson in Stockholm, who sold it to Esther Van der Berg in Amsterdam in 1982. The Van der Berg collection was donated to a Dutch museum in 2006.
