  • The bronze screw top with patterned banded edge, above a cylindrical neck and rounded shoulders continuing to the straight-sided jar mounted on a flaring foot, the glass etched with three columns of varied runes.

  • Interior discoloration to glass near foot, etching somewhat hesitant.

  • Indian origin, probably manufactured by the Bharat family-owned company selling to apothecaries and laboratories. Owned by Sanjay Soorma, gifted to heirs (1925), sold to private collector (1980), Detroit.
